The basics. The Philadelphian has 753 residential units, some two dozen commercial and professional tenants, and a full-time staff of approximately 60.
Favorite amenities. In a recent survey, residents identified the free shuttle bus to Center City as their favorite amenity. Building maintenance and the availability of on-site commercial services ranked next highest.
Market strengths. An independent research firm found that our building has “some of the largest condominium units in the Philadelphia market.” The study further found that we offer the most amenities among the 11 condo buildings reviewed.
Good citizens. The Philadelphian comprises its own voting division, and residents have the luxury of voting in the building. We have one of the highest rates of voting in the city.
Active volunteers. Residents of The Philadelphian get around! One woman completed Peace Corps service in the Republic of Georgia after she retired; another started a school in Ghana. Closer to home, residents tutor in local elementary schools, serve as docents in the Parkway's world-class museums, and volunteer on Board committees and task forces within the building.
